Summary

Description

A demonstration against data retention legislation in Vienna, Austria. The demonstration was organized by the Austrian Pirate Party. Here, Florian Husfky, the head of the Austrian Pirate Party, holds a speech in front of the BMVIT (Bundesministerium für Verkehr, Innovation und Technologie = Ministry for Traffic, Innovation and Technology).

In this video Florian Hufsky says that data retention will not help catch terrorists, who will find ways around it. Instead, it will only help with small-time-crooks. However, for this, data retention is too deep an intrusion into constitutionally granted rights. 2007-06-07T20:08
