Description Earthquake damage to the Embassy of Ecuador in an alley at Euclid Street NW and University Place NW in Washington, D.C. The alley was closed off. An occupant of the building, who was in the alley at the time, didn't realize there was an earthquake and thought a construction crew was knocking down the building.
