'...a 'monumental error' driven by profit-hungry drug companies spreading fear.' looks like a tabloid headline.
I actually wondered about that after the last news story which stated that the WHO still considered H1N1 a pandemic. It seemed like something that was just set up by a drug company and didn't seem to connect with the real world situation at all because I'm pretty sure if there were actual H1N1 outbreaks, we'd hear of the deaths by now.
