Whoa. Obama was eight when these guys were doing their thing? Hmmmm. That sounds like a solid connection to me. Maybe he supplied them with all the 25¢ lemonade that they could drink! This needs further investigation I can see. Gopher65talk 07:20, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
- I love how she conveniently left out how the same article concluded that there was no real connection between the two. I added a bit more in so that readers will get to know the whole story. God, she's pathetic... --Poisonous (talk) 08:35, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Loving the liberals, Racist pastor and Terrorist teacher that loves him, yet you guys look the other way every time. And they say we Neo Cons have no brains. --66.229.17.181 09:26, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
- My, that certainly is an intelligent and articulate critique of the article you are commenting on. --Brian McNeil / talk 09:55, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
- Let's not forget how Sarah Palin has her little witch doctor, that she ACTUALLY has a connection with. Unlike Obama, who never was close with the guy (as the same article states) and who constantly denounced his pastor until he ended up leaving his church. Sometimes, I wonder if Conservatives have the capacity to think. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.115.228.124 (talk) 15:44, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Valid?
editValid? Ummm... No. Old news at that. This has already been raised once by the McCain campaign... Including a TV spot. Obama appeared with O'Reilly on Fox and talked about it. Since Palin survived the debate, McPalin is taking off the proverbial gloves and getting ready for a dirty fight because it's all they have left. Maybe, since the words are coming from Palin's lips instead of John McCain's, this'll get some traction. Will it grow legs and walk? Don't think so. It'll slither long enough for someone to put it out of it's misery.
Sad commentary, don'tcha think? Rehashing old news which is already known to have failed... Spreading known lies... Will the American citizenry fall for it again? (Fear, Lies, etc)

Lower than low
editWow. According to Palin, you're "linked" to a terrorist if you happen to be on the same board of directors as said terrorist? I would understand if Obama was old enough to have known Mr. Ayers when he was carrying out bombings, but by the time Obama got on this board, the guy's a professor! If McCain and Palin are spending so much time attacking Obama with lies like these, there must not be anything good to say about themselves. Xenon54 (talk) 12:24, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
OOOOHHAHAHAHAHAHAH
editREPUBLICANS SUUUUUCKS!!! DESPERATE MOTHERFUCKERS GO TO HELL YOU RETARDS!!
Of course not! But, rebublicans can't find any real meat against Barack, so they must resort to lies or things that don't really matter, hype them up as resnons not to vote for the dems. They are hoping that Americans are stupid enough to believe it! Sadly, it is the case sometimes (at least in the case for rebublicans).
As an American living in Germany, it is difficult for me to explain to Germans what is going on in America when they ask me, and this will only make it worse. Thanks, Palin, for being a true representative of AMERICANS; an ignorant piece of cr*p. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.143.9.30 (talk) 10:38, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Facts
edit1) Wuz his name is a weatherman terrorist;
2) Obama worked or organized with the weatherman terrorist later in life; and
3) Palin is stating the facts.
End of story. 76.64.162.214 15:51, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

editSarah Palin is a terrorist, she uses her limited intellect and "folksy colloquiallisms" to strike fear into the hearts of freedom-loving people across the globe. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.158.163.70 (talk) 17:04, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Neh, who cares
editPretty pathetic, but who cares anyways? Both are the same government with different faces, nothing is going to 'change'.

Timeline doesn't make sense
editHow could Obama be a terrorist if he was only like 8 years old when that shit happened?
- Obama befriended him when he began teaching at his collage. Quit using Oh he was young when it happen. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.229.17.181 (talk) 04:43, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Liberals let again prove that they will follow an anti American because showing Patriotism in a time of war is not worth it. Just don't bitch to be when were attack again. --66.229.17.181 04:09, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
- Did you bother to read the article? Seriously? About how the same article she quoted concluded and showed how they had no relationship? Or do you just intend to ignore anything that doesn't make you hate liberals more without reason? --Poisonous (talk) 05:22, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
- Look at all his friends, everyone of his friends are either anti American or Racist. You guys worship him like a cult leader.--66.229.17.181 22:08, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Smear Campaign
editI've always looked at McCain as a respectful politician, but his choice of Sarah Palin as well as his recent attack ads have shown me exactly what the Republican Party can do to a person. In the times of Reagan, the Republican Party was in much better shape than now.
Tying Obama to terrorists based on such shaky facts is beyond absurd. It is more like idiocy! --Haha169 (talk) 05:12, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Interesting
editBy her logic and reasoning then Bush is also a terrorist.[[w:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bin_Laden_family#Alleged_business_connections_of_the_Bush_and_bin_Laden_families%7C]] —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.108.15.11 (talk) 14:56, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Tenuous connection to an ineffectual aging radical...
editAlthough Obama lacks the experience to have the job, not unlike the last two occupants of the office, the association is hardly troubling.
Palin appears to have been selected to energize the conervative base who until then were rather indifferent to a McCain candidacy. The real question should be why the DNC chose inexperience and the top of their ticket while the RNC chose inexperience at the bottom.
While it is in fact a desperate and almost certainly ineffectual argument even when used in a supportive conservative venue, this is more likely a direct result of the blank slate that is Obama. To argue that this issue has any importance just reinforces to me that the man has done little of consequence. (Outside of the admirable speed with which he has risen in his party's hierarchy.)
Also, while I disagree with many of his plans, he seems capable of making decisions and I suspect we might survive even his diasterous turn at the wheel. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.90.62.162 (talk) 20:58, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Beating around the bush with what's obvious
editHey! Did you know Obama was a black baby born to a white woman out of wedlock! TERRORIST!
It seems to me that Obama has some serious explaining to do.How does a Canidate raise 200 million dollars from 5,10,&20 dollar donations.I believe there is other ties in which he and his staff dont want to discuss. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.1.168.79 (talk) 01:11, 7 October 2008 (UTC)

- Oh yeah, all that money's coming from Osama bin Laden. What, do you think he's just another black guy stealing money? McCain doesn't know how to run a campaign. You can't possibly tell me you're going to vote for a man that has countlessly said the fundamentals of our economy are strong and that he doesn't know much about economics. Oh yeah, for all you ladies out there in love with Sarah Palin, remember who it was who's voted against equal pay for equal work for decades now, thinks birth control should be considered under 'abortion' and of course a guy who thinks it would be hilarious to "bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" I'll be sure to tell Obama and all his negro friends to give back the money. They're all terrorists, ya know. God forbid if a black man becomes a powerful figure in America. That wouldn't settle well with Bubba in Alabama.
