Gay Uganda?

edit
  • When the Ugandan threat to kill gays first surfaced, I spotted a tweet that particularly amused me, I'll try and get it right but this is a quote from memory.
"I'm looking for a new business opportunity. Gay travel and adventure holidays seem fairly recession-proof, think I'll start GoGoGayUganda.com" --Brian McNeil / talk 04:12, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

If Ugandan pass the bill the US/EU/UN have to cut all aid to that nation.--KDP3 (talk) 12:07, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

I agree. It won't happen, but I do agree. If we're lucky there'll be some UN sanctions, though, but they never really stop oppressive regiemes. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 18:26, 14 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

He should focus on fighting corruption, public works, education and general good government. Then they would not be in such desperate need for skapegoats.

Let's see Uganda has:

The 3rd highest birth rate in the world. (2.4x the world average & 3.5x the united states) The 9th highest rate of HIV deaths. 1/3rd of the population is illiterate. a per capita GDP of $1300. (That's 2.7% of productivity in the US)

oh, and less than 8% of the population has internet access. (source for all: https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/ug.html)

So obviously killing gays should be high on the priority list, right?
