Sorry, Iran

Since I assume this missile is going to somehow "miss" and "accidentally" hit you, let me just say -- I am totally, totally sorry. -161.88.255.139 19:09, 15 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Huh? You're an idiot. To your parents -- I am totally, totally sorry. - Ian Lee 19:22, 15 February 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.122.212.192 (talk) Reply
Quite an idiot. The missile won't contain a warhead because it's being used as a KINETIC weapon (i.e. it destroys things through the force of hitting them). Just smashing into the satellite is enough to destroy it; they're very delicate. Likewise, it would be nearly impossible for a kinetic missile to deal any significant damage to any military targets on the ground. --71.232.227.162 13:35, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wait a minute....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the world kick up a stink in the last year when another country shot down a satellite? Is this another case of one set of rules for the US and another for the rest of the world? -Hoj Ferwerk —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hoj Ferwerk (talkcontribs) 13:33, 16 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Grow up US.

edit

The US is once again acting like a spoilt child. Early last year they were 'concerned' when China did exactly what they are proposing to do now. The US needs to stop making up one set of rules for themselves and another for everyone else, and accept that they are no longer the only 'big kid on the block'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.49.181.37 (talk) 03:00, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

20 Bucks say the US liberated your country. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.229.35.146 (talk) 18:15, 17 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Uh...

edit

We didn't know about the what China did until a week later. The U.S., on the other hand, has given quite a bit of ahead notice.

I say China should do some growing up, considering their hypocritical complaints about this shoot-down [1]. (24.98.235.224 00:41, 21 February 2008 (UTC))Reply
