Agreed, this article does not explain the mutilation which often occurs. People raping women with sticks and guns and intentionally breaking the lining between the uterus, the vagina, the bladder, and having permanent effects afterwards.

There are a higher number of women and children being raped in South Africa. It is not being publicised overseas(Political Reasons). The law enforcement is corrupt, and so are many government officials. The current president raped a prostitute (HIV Positive) and further discounted all efforts to stop the rampant spread of the disease, because this man of office and power told the people (In a news conference) that he had a shower right after the sexual encounter. The witchdoctors tell the masses that virgin sex will cure AIDS infections, and now the president claims that a shower can take care of any potential risk of infection. All we can do is hope and pray that the message of truth can be heard. SA citizen wanting change.
