Best thing if you care about results is have the UN live amongst the Israeli civilians. Then either the Israeli's will be safe from ongoing attack or the UN will agree that the local [non-Israeli] Arabs are victims of a minority of opportunistic militants with foreign backing fighting a war of hate rather than promoting the agenda of their peers (food, shelter, medicine, education).—The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.6.154.199 (talkcontribs)

I for one am thrilled that Hamas is getting pounded into the sand by Israel.

Hamas was elected, and the ones getting pounded are the civilians because the Israeli's are indiscriminate and apparently so disorganized they can't even keep track of what locations they've herd civilians into for even a day, much less what UN aid workers look like. Rockets should stop when the blockade stops, but keeping up the blockade to incite the rocket attacks to justify unleashing a bunch of hateful killers will only keep that going. UN and NATO peacekeepers should storm the area, force everyone to disarm proportionally, and settle land disputes by putting the two-state solution into force. 65.1.135.135 23:24, 12 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

The U.N. edit

There is no real leadership in the U.N. They will not be able to rally to any peace resolution. If the U.N. was in real control of power Iran would not be close to going nueclear, Russia would not be halping Iran, Hamas would not dare launch rockets. I know I ask alot of those countries but, if we worked together I'm sure the U.N. could accomplish much more. Why must Israel be dragged through the mud because they stand up to the bad guys? Condeming people isnt enough. Get rid of the antagonists and Israel wouldnt have to defend itself. --Ender (talk) 01:48, 13 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
