Looking at footage of the aftermath, I'm leaning towards blaming the Christian Salvesen trucker. It looks like the truck has crossed over the solid white line (international readers, that means no overtaking) and into the car's teritory. Of course, it may have been werving to avoid the car, and dragged the lighter vehicle back accross with it, but for once I think the youths aren't to blame.
