With the advent of cell phone cameras, you'd think that this sort of thing would've been recorded by now. -99.224.212.100 04:08, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Umm sure
editOfficials from nearby Air Force bases say none of their aircraft were in the area the night of the sightings. However, Major Karl Lewis, a spokesman for the 301st Fighter Wing at the Joint Reserve Base Naval Air Station in Fort Worth, believes the object was an illusion caused by airplane lights.
"I'm 90 percent sure this was an airliner. With the sun's angle, it can play tricks on you." Lewis said.
Oh so I am just going to blame it on the swamp gas and weather balloons. Thats it...thats all it was...sounds convincing huh. DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 04:27, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Oh and one more thing...suddenly we have mile long airplanes?? DragonFire1024 (Talk to the Dragon) 04:31, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
- Surely that's what he meant by "With the sun's angle, it can play tricks on you"? Not that I'd agree it would be possible for the sun to make a normal aeroplane look a mile long without actually seeing it happen. But then again, I wouldn't believe that this object even looked a mile long without seeing it too, I would assume it had been exaggerated. There's probably a name or someone like me. --89.241.176.204 17:20, 16 January 2008 (UTC).
ITS THEM MARTIANS!
editI sees 'em. In the shower, in the alley behind Mac's Burger Joint, when I close my eyes, on the crapper. It's them. Long phallic like space ship, Texas town. You know them Martians love them some Texas Toast! (Who doesn't?) Them bible belters have it right- it is indeed the end of days come to take God's unchosen to the depths of Hell. Satan's waiting for ya.
Love,

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
editoooooooo.
Oh wait. Yes. It was an object, it flew, and the people couldn't identify it. I think that is the very definition of an Unidentified Flying Object. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 161.88.255.139 (talk) 18:07, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

Aliens=not real if they had that great of technology and any interest in the earth we would know for sure by now —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.105.3.2 (talk) 00:47, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, if aliens were real, we would not know, due to the anthropological protocols they work to.
I.E They try to stay hidden as far as possible 62.56.75.239 12:25, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
Of Course We Wouldn't Know About The Aliens
editOf course we wouldn't know if aliens exist because everyone knows that the Prime Directive of the Starfleet of the United Federation of Planets is to not interfere or make contact in any way with the civilzations that they observe. This means that the fact that we could see the object means that it was not alien, so I would have to agree with the good Rev. Josiah Strong that this really is the End of Days. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.54.14.84 (talk) 16:01, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
it's true, but not my description, in florida
editthese r pretty weird i never used to believe in them but until sometime in december 2007, mysister, dad, and i saw one different but much like a plane. it was a short plane with the wings at the back of the plane and it hovered in the middle of a small cloud. 3 or 4 lights under the plane and in the middle, with 1 bright light at each end. we took a sharp turn around and pulled out my cell phone but when we turned around the thing took off. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.109.56.251 (talk) 16:40, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Me and a Friend seen the same object January 9th just after dark about 7 miles north and 10 miles East of Parsons, Kansas
It was low to ground and was huge, had 7 or 8 large round lights on the side.
As we headed toward the object the lights started going out from right to left until the
lights were all out. Couln't see any trace of object after that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.252.187.190 (talk) 21:52, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

If aliens had technology to get to earth why in hell would waste their time here what are we going to give them and since we have so many psychos on our planet we would probably kill them all!--50cent541 21:17, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
we saw something too in Texas
editTwo years ago in between Stephenville Texas and Dublin Texas we were moving my sister in law from Dallas. There were several of us in four different and we were all split up some came one direction and others another but we were all in the same location I was watching this wide bright white light floating in the sky it was high up but not as high as an airplane. I watched it for a while not wanting to say anything until I made sure I was seeing what I thought so I told my sister in law to look up, she saw it and a second later it just dissapeared. It was kinda scary us two girls in the car alone at 10:00 at night in the country. But a few minutes later her dad from the other vehicle called and asked us if we were watching the sky and saw that huge light that flew away. When we arrived in Brownwood that night we confirmed that all four of the vehicles saw the same thing. It was the talk of the family for awhile up until the other day when we heard about the latest sighting. Brownwood J.G.--Joni9563 04:12, 26 January 2008 (UTC)

editTHIS UFO WAS ALSO SIGHTED OVER REFORM ALABAMA, HEADING WEST A FEW DAYS BEFORE BEING SEEN IN TEXAS. APPEARED TO BE OVER A MILE WIDE. —75.120.30.127 (talk) 20:24, 27 May 2010 (UTC)
its true. A couple years ago I saw three dots high up in the night sky over a feild. The three dots looked like it had fumes of stars coming out of the back creating a tail. They were close together but look like a shape of a triangle. They were motionless except for two times when they all moved at obnce across the sky very slowy but very fast at the same time. Then they moved again and then one more time when they disappeared.
