Modernise it? edit

What horsecrap. Put more planes in the sky and you need to put more bums on seats in front of screens watching the radar. I know someone works at Edinburgh airport, they modernised the airport to support more traffic. They built a new tower which gives better visibility. But, to my knowledge, they didn't increase the number of controllers. Money doesn't get spent on manpower. That's such a dull thing to budget for when you get a shiny new terminal building, more parking, and 10-20% more planes. --Brian McNeil / talk 14:45, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't see how it could of been a near collision if they were obeying TCAS. Even if the ATC made a mistake the situation was under control. The ATC should thank their lucky stars that the aircraft were modern enough to have advanced safety features onboard. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 90.240.170.125 (talk) 20:10, 20 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
