It is my understanding that animals in zoos are routinely not fed everyday in order to mimic the type of regularity of eating they would usually get in the wild. Thus the witness tesimony that the tiger 'must have been starving' has less relevance than portrayed.
this tiger should be given a longer jail term in termsof this kind of uncivilized behaviour
