Is Thaksin's rural support base something you believe he 'bought'?

Freedom

edit

The PAD party has no idea what democracy is....there is no freedom of speech or freedom of press.

When the government threatens to fine or imprison people for expressing their views...there is no democracy..they violate the very basic principals of democracy. It's a shame that the monarchy just sits back on the throne and lets all this happen..when they have the power to stop it...maybe the monarchy is part of the problem! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.169.33.47 (talk) 15:39, 1 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

There are many evidents that Thaksin gains his support by his money. Although he might not actually pay it directly, but we cannot deny the fact that he ‘s using his political power and business to influence others, or in some case, we could say he manipulates them, even the government court by his power and especially his 'money'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 119.160.212.175 (talk) 05:44, 3 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
