Whether or not the boys were actually planning to blow up the school is a matter of speculation. Intent is hard to prove in a court of law. I'm glad authorities are responsive when trying to prevent a tragedy but I think these boys need help, professional help, jail will just make them criminals. I was an anguished teen once too, it can be a difficult environment. That said, these school shootings, bombs, etc are a big tragedy that should be avoided at all costs.
