This will make it that much harder for people to find work in California now. How much more will be lost to this slow down in the economy? Each of these people being fired certainly have immense skill sets and that will push everybody else down a little further in hiring. I hope this trend can be reversed or soon the only legitimate comparison for IT work won't be garage work like it should be, but instead picking fruit. 65.1.136.89 20:05, 16 November 2008 (UTC)
Won't this add to the problem?
editThe thing I am wondering is: won't companies cutting jobs to cope with the financial situation only make matters worse? If every big corporation lays off workers, then there will be less people able to spend money (particularly assuming Jobs become difficult to find). With less people who can spend money, there will be less cashflow into these corporations which could lead to more layoffs, which could lead to less spending, which could lead to more layoffs... Just a thought. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.83.222.142 (talk) 21:03, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
