It's sad to see the Church afraid to keep its doors open (to people gathered before you, who aren't firebugs or anarchists ~ just people in great difficulties). Be sure your response to their presence is also profoundly noted. In the days to come, as you see the Churches emptying, remember that you're NOT there for the people when THEY NEED YOU. A wiser response would have been to ask the people to help in the daily cleanup, and to donate to a special fund (so that you could keep the bathrooms stocked with soap, paper and bath tissue, etc.) This would have displayed better heart, don't you think? But essentially, closing your doors becomes your political statement, siding with government which has been treating its citizens as "the enemy within" -- the disrupters, as the CIA likes to label them (a label generally reserved for Christians, whom they intend to marginalize, jail and kill, in the future). Do your research and take a better stand.

There is one big question: how long will St Paul's remain shut? Is this a permanent closure? That's what's implied by the author.

Short article with hardly any information and is mostly a big quote

Why have such short articles, lacking in information? Why bother publishing such an article? Not enough happening in the world?
