So their were no escorts? --66.229.17.181 21:39, 26 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

I was thinking that you'd expect a ship full of military cargo to be able to defend itself from pirates..... Fephisto (talk) 12:44, 27 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Global Warming!

edit

I certainly hope that this helps with the problem of global warming, given that there seems to be an influx of pirates and piratey activity.

Any further updates?

The last update regarding this incident was over a month ago. Anyone know how this stand-off turned out? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.17.26.4 (talk) 19:15, 17 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Why don't they move these ships in a close convoy with military escorts? I'm not a military expert but it sure makes sence to have strenght in numbers. Pat

They still have the ship, 204. They released a Greek ship today, MV Genius, that was captured the same day as the Favina. Blood Red Sandman (Talk) (Contribs) 22:48, 22 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Trolling suspected. Vladimir Vysotsky was a famous Russian poet. Seriously doubt there's a "name brother" that's head of the Russian Navy.
