Ok, this happened Saturday, I remember seeing it on the news, why is it being listed in the news for today? There is no new information from today, its just what was known on Saturday.
There's no 24hr window for putting stuff up on here. Within a week is usually considered fine. This may have been on your local or even national news, but the vast majority of the world don't watch/listen/read your news source but might want to hear about this. If you want your news on here quicker... then you write it :)
