I think it's somewhat disapionting that Senator Stevens didn't win. If he had won then he would have been the first convicted felon to ellected to the Senate. Any ways I think Alaska was voicing thier dissent to the rest of the country with so many people voting for convicted fellon, they where sending the rest of us (the rest of US)a message, that being "To hell with what the rest of you think, we'll vote for whoever we like." Had Stevens won, that message would have impact.

- what a lot of Alaskan people said the reason why they voted for him because he got them jobs and help Alaskan out. I would not still vote for him, but the only different thing between Stevens and the rest of the Senate, he was caught--66.229.21.217 17:44, 19 November 2008 (UTC)
