The "anglosphere" made a bluff, but the russians are just too smart. They didn't fall for it. The "Operation Immediate Response 2008", with US, georgian and armenian troops started July 15 and... guess when it was terminated... August 8th, precisely when the fighting started. The russians didn't chicken out...
