There has been recordings of much higher ratios in europe and in america aswell.

Wow that guy was lit. I wonder what kind of shape his liver is in or even what kind of liver he has for that matter. Geez he must have super internal organs all the way around. Or he's about to collapse at any moment. Good looking out to the officers who spotted that guy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.177.161.236 (talk) 08:18, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
how is this a record? record for rhode island? world records for Eastern Europe go above 0.7-0.8% (for still conscious people) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.118.251.61 (talk) 13:28, 1 August 2008 (UTC)
TIME
editThe .4+ is remarkable in and of itself. The fact that he blew that number at the State Police Barracks in Scituate makes it even more noteworthy. You have to figure he was probably at the accident scene ((% in Prov.) for at least 30 minutes before they carted His Drunkenness away and it's a 20 minute drive to the barracks where they tested him. Also figure he was probably 10 minutes out from his last drink at the bar before he plowed into the road sign. This roughly means his .4+ alcohol level was documented after his liver had a full hour to reduce it from whatever it had been at the end of his last drink. Think about that.
