Being "subject to the law"

"Deputy Justice Minister Marcin Warchol said the laws would prevent justice from "becom[ing] a form of privilege" and ensure all Poles are subject to the law." is an interesting allegation. One'd think that requiring a particular class to abide by the laws doesn't require more power than exactly that.

Maybe it's like in the U.S. where people who can afford to hire the best lawyers for lawsuits tend to get their way.
