Do I understand correctly that Gatwick Airport has now been sold?

It certainly ought to have been by now. Can't recall whatever became of that, though.

On further examination: Yes, it was sold (at least once) since the Competition Commission demanded it in '08. Yes, it has just changed hands again: here.
