Great software! Highly recommended.

xml compatibility edit

Anyone know if the new OO is compatible with MS office's new file formats? 65.94.185.126 17:22, 15 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Yes, it is compatible. ~~

overated edit

Although last time i used it was a long time ago (it was still 1.x), I must say that i found it rather bloated, slow, and really not anything special from a feature or ui design point of view. A office suit should honestly not be 163 mb ever (except if it maybe contained a huge clip art library, and really that should be more online w/ likes of http://openclipart.org ). I find that if i need to write a document, abi-Word does the job, does it well, and does it fast (or if i'm in a cli mood, vim). Anything that needs something more powerful I can use latex. (and ms word conversion wv tools work good enough) Bawolff 06:14, 16 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

User Interface Still sucks edit

The user interface sure hasn't changed one bit. It is still just as clunky, slow, and user-unfriendly. They made one nice change: the shine on row and column headers in the Spreadsheet App. --Nuck Chorris 0 (talk) 23:57, 20 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
