This is a tragically enlightening story. I had a vague idea of what the slums in Rio were like, but I had no idea they had deteriorated to the extent that drug lords and "militias" control everything, even the media and the elections. There are not many English news sources reporting this, which is sad, because these are the kinds of stories the world needs to hear. ~Planoneck~ 03:16, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

well i got to say they were just doin there job
editi mean they can't be the bad guy's. if there just trying to do there job it shoudn't make them the bad guy's. as they said there not crimanl's there just police men. don't any of you know what a militia is!?! there just armed people trying to defend themselve's and there people!
