And I'd wonder how the Russians stole data from us.--KDP3 (talk) 19:37, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
- To be fair, whilst civil servants have been leaving classified documents on trains and in diners since... well, since trains and diners were invented... but the new technologies now available offer limitless opportunities for people to lose stuff. And you've got the extra fun of people's general ignorance of technology - they transfer files from computer to computer, email them home, put them on a memory stick, transfer them to a third computer, email them back, and never once think that they're leaving a copy behind each time - why would you? It's not like the real world. And because it's not real, the data itself comes to seem unimportant. Redvers (talk) 19:45, 28 January 2009 (UTC)
