What the hell??? That guy is so retarded how can you sue God? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.47.105.178 (talk) 04:38, 28 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

This man is brilliant but who is going to represent god on this trial the pope?? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.65.9.225 (talk) 02:11, 19 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is a ridiculous lawsuit, for the reasons that one, God is infinite. In His works, all is perfect. He created everything, down to the atom which none of us can see. In this lawsuit, Mr. Chambers is defying God's authority. God is perfect. Read the Bible and find that Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit, that they are one, yet three. Some one should tell Mr. Chambers that he needs to file three lawsuits: One for Jesus, one for God, and one for the Holy Spirit. Or argue with him that they are three, yet one, and make him decide: is this appropriately one lawsuit or three? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Christie E.R. (talkcontribs) 01:05, 20 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have to agree with the guy filing the lawsuit. "God" if he is omnipotent as he claims had the power to stop all the floods, tornadoes, ect. That's not even including the stuff he did himself like the plagues and flooding the world. Also since he is omniscient he would have known about all these events before hand and could have stopped them or warned people. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.41.217.207 (talk) 22:42, 20 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have to be crazy! I mean, Who the hell would sue God if this is all man's fault? Sinners are given grace that they take for granted by being given air to breathe, people to love. They get what they deserve if they go to hell. Christians know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him. Through trials, God is teaching us how to be like Him. And then we'll get what we never could earn by going to heaven, if we believe in His holy word.

This is horrible! You cannot sue an idealogical, omnipotent, omnipresent being! What, does he expect God to accept some kind of subpeona or court summons? This is ridiculous, and if I wasn't laughing so hard I would be furious!!!!

This is, frankly, f-ing hilarious! I just found out about all this and I have this to say: Why do you all care??? Nothing will—and nothing has—come of this and, furthermore, "god" (purposely uncapitalized: I'm an atheist—deal with it) is not "omnipotent," "omniscient," etc.
To Senator Chambers: Why doesn't 'god' care enough to empirically exist?

Go ahead, sue God, see where it'll get ya edit

i think this guy has got balls to sue God. and if he's as well researched about God as he says he is, he will know that God is the one who created life and the universe, so he can do whatever the hell he wants with it..

he would also know that God wasnt the one who created all the bad stuff in the world ex.death, birth defects, floods ect. it was actually mankind, so why dont you sue mankind for screwing things up? whats that you say? its impossible? well good job ding dongs of the world, you just learned something, God cannot be held to something on our side of the spectrum. what i mean is, you cant sue God, because 1, he's God, so back off, and 2,theres nothing to sue him for and finally 3, you cant sue God because lawsuits were something that man made, and only exists on earth. think of it this way geeks and geek-ettes, you're trying to hook up hardware from the year 2098 to a computer from 1998

so go ahead, sue God, see where it gets you. maybe on the front page of the National Inquierer, but no where near any more knowledge of where we're going...

ps. this all came from the mind of a 13 year old, so if you dont get it, than either 1, you're stupid, or 2. you're younger than me so why dont'cha sue God for that too...

ps...s- i could have just as easily said "God doesnt exist" so all you wise-arses out there please dont mercilessly butcher these words caus eyou have no lives otherwise... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.46.229.124 (talk) 00:15, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

You have got to be kidding me. edit

You have got to be kidding me. Someone actually tried to sue god. what was the point? You might as well try to sue Satan in the process. He's the bad one. Now, some people say God doesn't exist, or just don't like him. But actually trying to sue him? This deserves the DEDEDEE award of failure. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 170.211.158.1 (talk) 19:01, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Just keep in mind edit

In my opinion, It's just pretty hilarious. I think of it as a harmless demonstration of frustration with the US Court system. Hell, I'm a faithful Catholic and I only find this slightly offensive. It's not a big deal, all you religious fanatics out there. Matt White (talk) 14:36, 7 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

i guess my only thoughts are that if a church is called the house of god, there must be some legal jargon to serve god at a local church, preferably R.C —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.231.120.103 (talk) 14:14, 16 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

I agree, a person should be able to sue anyone, even a god or God, depending on your religion. And to the judge, there should be no religious influences in the judicial system. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.144.99.97 (talk) 17:14, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

You should. And screw all you close-minded christians —Preceding unsigned comment added by 207.144.99.97 (talk) 17:18, 17 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Attempts by a Wired News reporter to contact God for comment were not successful.

Senator Chambers is seeking a Manifestation of God edit

I believe Senator Chambers' case is not an unusual one. He, like many who seek to hear from God and to experience His Presence is right to put forth his case. The only problem with his case is that he (Senator Chambers) has put forth his case to the wrong place. What the Senator needs is to sincerely call on God in person (with out passing through an intermediary) and God will speak back to him. For God reveals Himself to any one who calls on/invites Him in sincerety and in truth, not for show offs, and not for publicity or fame. God is perfect and unfortunately he created you (Humans) edit

God is perfect and God creates eternal life. Man is nothing but dust. Man has created Man's Dead World, Diseases and Misery.

Man his following his own Man's Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and Man does not know anything. If, you are seing the end of the world then it is only happening for the individual who is uneducated about the real world. Man imagine things and man makes them happen. That's imagination of the Dead's Man World.

Your world is ending by man of no intelligence. I don't need useless diplomas to stand strong against Man following Man. You follow man which is only a creation and man is not a creator of life. You want to sue God for man's stupiditly destroying Life and Earth.???

I don't follow creations they are only a pile of Toxic Synthetic Chemicals built by man and the useless creations are following Man which will be returned to the ground to creates good creations.

God doesn't waist any time in the dead world which man has created! So another words you can't sue God because he doesn't exist for non-beleivers and evil people. The true is not in books but in you. All you need is in you but you won't beleive me! Keep following man and you will surely die!!!!

This guy may be serious or He's Just Looking Forward to seeing His name in the News. Either way, GOD needs no representation. Remember the Motion Picture, Oh, GOD!? I'm Paraphrasing here . . .

Lawyer: I'd like to question this . . . witness.

GOD: Sit Down sonny, it's My Turn to talk.

Nuff Said . . .

Singapore Citizen Mr. Teo En Ming (Zhang Enming) Sues God edit

Singapore Citizen Mr. Teo En Ming (Zhang Enming) wants to sue God for His utter negligence on earthly affairs. How can I file a lawsuit against Him at the United States Supreme Court, the European Court of Justice, and the International Court of Justice?

Like Nebraska Democratic State Senator Ernie Chambers, I want to seek a permanent injunction against God.
