Will this lead to the development of 'sensor apps' for smartphones that would unite a large group of cellphones, in an area vulnerable to tornadoes, into a monitoring unit, which then senses the requisite metrics of an imminent tornado and broadcasts an alarm to the same cellphones, along with feeding the data back to, say, NOAA?—Ripley.sage (talk) 15:05, 10 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
