Jerry West retired as the Memphis Grizzlies General Manager in 2007. The real question is who really constructed the "Pau Gasol Trade" was it GM Chris Wallace or GM Jerry West? Without Pau Gasol the Los Angeles Lakers don't win any NBA Championships and should thank the former Legendary Laker Jerry West.
