It's amazing that 2200+ years later the human condition is such that we have yet to evolve as group beyond the mentality which finds the need to build walls against each other. When will we as a species stop abiding by this innate mentality to forcibly segregate? I'm sure the public outlook of the current US Southern border fence would be much different if we weren't so driven to divide, especially to the point of investing million upon millions of dollar or yuan in the preservation/restoration of this relic of the past. I'm not against culture or heritage but we have to let things go to move on. I guess that bone head Garth was right when he said "we fear change". What happened to the brief spark that resulted in tearing down the Berlin Wall? What that wall represented was a manification of this behavior of forced segregation. Does it really have to get that bad before we desire to make a change? Can we not use hindsight to provide ourselves with greater foresight? Will we never be more than bickering ants with thumbs? If we don't socially evolve to one species we will never evolve to one planet. Baby steps people, we can do it but that doesn't mean we will do it.This is wierd/dumb whoever wrote it is dumbest in the whole world and it's not true.
