Following the news from CERN of the first indications of the existence Higgs particle, any possible update of the Standard Model for all subatomic particles and implications on our understanding of dark energy would be welcome. —70.27.143.203 (talk) 22:13, 5 July 2012 (UTC)

If they've found the Higgs boson, and it was found where they expected it, why would they need to update the Standard Model?
