What happened to the rocket? Was the payload recovered? 69.22.235.121 23:09, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
- The rocket failed because the first stage failed to properly detach from the second stage; the company hasn't yet said whether or not they were able to recover anything. The first and second stages of the rocket are intended to be reusable, so it is possible that it parachuted down as normal. That doesn't seem likely to me though, because the second stage would have been weighed down by the first stage hanging off its end. Still, we won't know until the company releases some more info. I'm more curious about what the exact cause of failure was. Hopefully it wasn't a major design flaw. Gopher65talk 23:36, 3 August 2008 (UTC)
