Very interesting and well reported story, but the title shows bias. I'm not saying that polygamy is ok or that any abuse that may have happened is acceptable, but it's more journalistically sound to say that TX authorities fear that the families will flee the state. What I want to know is... whatever happened to this "distressed 16-year-old girl"?! I mean, she obviously felt like she had been violated, even if no one else in the compound felt that way. Whoever wrote this is apparently not familiar with the story. No 16 year old girl called CPS. It was a black woman from Colorado. The governor of Texas ordered the Texas Rangers to stop looking for her so that the lies of Texas CPS would stand. Almost everything from CPS has been a fabricated lie. Get a clue Wikinews. - Interesting conspiracy theory, but there is at least one flaw: Romney is a member of the LDS Church, not the FLDS Church. It's been over a hundred years since the LDS Church ceased practicing polygamy, and it was the grandparents+ of those currently claiming the FLDS name that were former members for the LDS Church. - You have to be kidding. Every article I have read has mentioned the 16-year-old girl. I'm pretty sure that the story is familiar. Besides, I like in Texas, I'm fairly certain the governor isn't making a break for the VP. & The Texas Rangers don't even exist anymore. - 67.142.130.43 16:07, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
