I guess it's pretty clear now that the EPA has lost their minds, or have no idea how the environment works... or they just don't care at all. Carbon Dioxide should not be classified as a pollutant. Humans and animals exhale it as part of their natural biorythyms, plants and algae convert it back into oxygen necessary for animal life. This whole global warming thing worries me. Not the fear of destroying our world's ecology -- no, nature has found ways around extremes to ensure life continues, even if it won't be human life. My fear is of the government abusing its powers and using global warming as a tool to knock out people who they don't like. Someone giving the government a hard time? Sic the mindless eco-friendly zombies on them. An industry doesn't want to play ball and let the government buy them out? Call them on their producing of 'pollutants' and the like. This whole thing just reeks of... god, it's just awful. --98.110.200.96 20:50, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

An interesting analysis of the proposed new CO2 regulations for US power plants. Their methodology appears sound. Worth a look for the charts. --Tillman (talk) 02:22, 13 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

EPA is Overstepping their Bounds! edit

The EPA regulations against wood burning stoves are harming many small business in the United States. It will cut sales drastically because many of their former products will only be available for commercial use in the future. They can also be sold exclusively to burn coal.
