It seems small nations are like small dogs, they feel they are much larger and more powerful than they really are. Granted Eritrea is only a small nation itself, but it does have about 9 times the population of Djibouti. Djibouti on the other hand has a lot of powerful friends and will be potrayed as the victim even if they started the war. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.44.6.41 (talk) 21:48, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Desta accused Ethiopia of worsening the situation by preparing military forces to help Djibouti. "Ethiopia has built from the Djiboutian side a network of winding roads up the mount and deployed offensive long-range artillery and heavy equipment directed at Eritrea," he said.

i dont belive this was the case desta accused ethiopia of starting the military buildup along the three countrys border on may 2008, not to help djibouti but to attack eritrea for her own agenda —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.145.225.94 (talk) 23:57, 25 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

XDAR: Do you think this is just a reason to take land from Eritrea as a justification for Djibouti? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.170.192.21 (talk) 13:12, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Eritrea has won its place after more than 30 years of fighting, Ethiopian operatives in Djibouti can't change that by advocating war between these neighbors. Punish all aggressors. 65.1.135.117 05:05, 28 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
