Badly Written. Inaccurate and contradictory on two accounts: they were driving back from a poetry reading at Porthcawl to Ogmore-by-Sea (where they used to have a house), not from Golders Green. Dannie Abse does not live in Glamorgan, he lives, in fact, in Golders Green. He has only visited his former house in Ogmore-by-Sea once since Joan died. This was to scatter her ashes.
