Is it just me, or is the world REALLY anti-succession? Fephisto - (talk) 23:25, 19 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

weird...who would do that? i would only write a strongly worded letter! :)btw, it's not just you, it is.

I just dont get it, why would anybody be for suppressing another country? edit

I'm half Spanish, I would never go round the Basque /Catalan regions with a spanish flag saying "f*** you, you're part of spain now". I'm half English, I would never go round Wales/Northern Ireland/Scotland with a union jack saying "f*** you, you're British now". But that seams to be what the Chinese public are doing, and anybody who disagrees is part of the "western conspiracy", I hate conventional media, but the idea that they would all just make a story up is ludicrous. Sure they exaggerate lots but they dont fake stories and back edit encyclopaedias for years in advance to pretend that Tibet wasn't a part of china!

Agreed. I guess it must be all of the nationalist brainwashing going on over there. How does someone get off saying that their country "owns" a region of land and all of its inhabitants? And Tibet is just the tip of the iceberg - the people of China are probably be repressed just as badly, only they don't know it. Hopefully, someone it that country will start to pay attention to what's really going on. --Wolf m corcoran - (talk) 14:55, 21 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Come on don't always hold your hands and say that people on the other side are brainwashed. As far as I know a large part of Chinese they can read both Chinese and English. So they are better informed than you are at least in this aspect. Can you read Chinese? Have you been to Tibet?

Do you know how to sign your posts? --Wolf m corcoran - (talk) 13:53, 23 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

The difference between CNN and CCTV edit

The difference between CNN and Chinese Communist Party-controlled media (CCTV) is only that CNN still pretends to be impartial, but the latter is even too lazy to pretend. As to other medias such as the Nazi medias in Germany now like Mirror, they even don't deserve any comments here. So CNN don't be sad, you are criticized because people think you still have hope. Nobody criticize the Nazi medias in Germany, did you notice? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.251.0.8 (talk) 10:38, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
