cuts are unaccetpable

California State Senate president Darrell Steinberg, a Democrat, said, "The cuts are absolutely unacceptable,"

when you don't have money, you don't have money. what do you want Arnold to do? time travel to the future and steal gold bars from Skynet? you really don't have any other options, Mr. Steinberg.

My solution to this fiasco by these ignorant public servants - aka legislators and governor? Make a mandatory 50% cut in pay and benefits. They can live off their accumulatged pac monies built up over the years, until a budget is put into place. Also, make all state purchases with a three bid process. Force the state's purchasing power utilitize the cheapest price. Stop getting paybacks on every purchase made. Where is the damn state auditor?
