Did Bush reassure you?

No. "We are the government. We're here to help." - Amgine | t 02:30, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Scary, scary words. Bush was the epitome of monstrous overarching government that Republicans perpetually try to portray Democrats as. His policies saw billions go into the pockets of the people inside the Military-Industrial complex, Blackwater being a most notable beneficiary of how things were being structured. They profited massively in providing 'personal security' for non-military US personnel in Iraq - i.e. glorified mercenary bodyguards. All the spending on that vanished into apparently non-controversial parts of government sector budgets. If you can find some honest accountants to audit and redo the books from his eight years in power you might shock a lot of people. Of course, if they're died-in-the-wool fundamentalist Republicans, they might just move to Arizona - I hear there's a lot of sand there for you to stick your head in. --Brian McNeil / talk 17:45, 7 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Why would anyone with a brain be reassured, What has Bush done right. Name one thing that everyone thinks he did right and I will name a number that the majority feels he was wrong. His own party wants McCain to stay away from him. Do you see him helping McCain in this election? How do you think the world feels about Bush. This Global economy is a wonderful thing. We are not alone Everyone will be in the same boat. Europe did not want us to invade Iraq. Everyone told the Bush administration that this would not work. This is why we were alone except for handful from a few country's When Clinton was in office we had money to fund everything. Now they are talking about making cuts in everything. I am retired and my wife is going to retire this next year. We have worked and payed taxes for a total of 94 years. My wife has worked for 48 years and I worked for 46 years. Why should we do without when this government has let CEO's run off with millions. Why don't we put a bounty on them. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.49.128.165 (talk) 03:26, 12 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
