What's left?

The article says that the ship has been reduced to scrap in recent years. What does that mean? Is only the hull and the outer shape left intact? In my mind, reduced to scrap meant turned into a pile of metal; if that were the case, though, they wouldn't be able to auction it as a ship. (talk)14:25, 3 December 2010

I bid seven of her majesty's pounds sterling and fifty of her shining pennies!

I am stunned that 4chan has not got on this. (talk)16:49, 5 December 2010
