With a somewhat odd tone set to the Olympics with it being the first Modern Olympics held in China, many were wondering what welcoming they would receive. The Chinese Government spent an estimated Twenty Two Billion on hosting the Olympics in Beijing; this is a considerably large amount when you notice that Australia spent Three Billion on their acclaimed Olympics in Sydney. It is even more startling to see that London plans on spending Nine Billion on the Olympics in 2012. So is this the most astonishing Olympics we have ever seen? With a poor attendance at the lauded venues and suspicious conspiracies regarding a number of the athletes ages this year overall we can summarise that all we saw was an anti-climatic explosion. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 91.107.113.185 (talkcontribs) 22:01, 27 August 2008
