Rot in prison you cheating jackass.
20-30 years... c'mon
Barry Bonds dug his own grave. He tried to hide the fact the he didn't do steriods, but that was in his words. He could not back it up with his body size. When Barry Bonds won his first MVP with the Pittsburgh Pirates, he was a skinny player with raw power and incredible fielding ability. He was the modern day Willie Mays. As Bonds aged, he began to get bigger. This isn't uncommon (looking at current players Alex Rodriguez and Ken Griffey, Jr.) The difference between Bonds and the other players was the amount of power Bonds gained, and the amount of speed and vulnerability he lost. Bonds exploded over a season, and put himself on the radar with Major League Baseball. His career was in jeopardy starting here, but ended once he decided to lie the grand jury about his use. Bonds ruined his career. By commiting perjury he went from a All-Star record-breaker to an asterisk to America's pasttime. This should be a reminder to all professional athlete to stay clean and truthful. It is sad to see such an amazing athlete falter at the expense of the law. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fenwaymemphis (talk • contribs) 22:45, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
