"State media suggested some of the snowfall was started artificially, by cloud seeding." Wow. That's of the standard I'd expect from Pravda Online (yes, that thing still exists, kind of), not Xinhua, notoriously bad though the latter is. I don't understand what you're surprised about. They do force a lot of precipitation; it's understandable that some of it would end up snow. Maybe a moot point, since this is freakish snow either way. —70.53.86.46 (talk) 07:48, 17 November 2009 (UTC)Reply
