This article does not really get to the heart of the issue. The issue is not that apple has a problem, but their total lack of acknowledgment. In other words, instead of understanding that its a real problem. Apple instead shifted the blame to all other smart phones, as in all smart phones are faulty. So in essence there is no real need to fix the issue.
