Fly-by-wire edit
I'm gonna say it: It looks like much of the industry's worst fears over fly-by-wire have been realised today. New aircraft (three years), electrical problems then crash... There are other possibilities, but it looks horribly like the electrical failure wiped out the fly-by-wire, with the result being that the plane was uncontrollable. Dear Unknown,
I think the plane might have crash landed and are stuck somewhere
in the island Cape Verde (near to Mauritania) and are stuck with no network or services to call for help.Perhaps some are killed and most are injured.Planes from France and Brazil and other countires as well from Africa must help search for the lost people as soon as possible as they may lose their lives.

more than a nightmare edit
This is one of the worst accidents I have ever heard of. Having survivors would be a real miracle. This could be their fate but it is awful. I wish I didn't watch TV or read the news on the internet. My warm condolence to all their families and friends. May God have Mercy on them.
