Fight with climate change, not with terrorism.

In hotter world unrest, terrorism, civil wars will increase.

Money for removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere could be found easily, if spending on army and warfare was annulled. Couldn't it? Wikiwide (02:53, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

Climate change is not new, nor likely to be preventable - help people adjust and survive

Climate change is less likely to lead to a sudden death than terrorists are. Helping people deal with any impacts from Climate Change would be a worthy goal, pretending that chaning human behavior by government mandate will prevent changes in a global system with a history of change much greater than predicted by the models not. 69.57.115.150 (talk) 07:44, 15 December 2009 (UTC)

It's simple economics

The reason none of these carbon bans, cap and trade systems, and carbon taxes will work, is simple economics. It has been estimate that climate change will generate 3 billion dolllars in damage per year, while the taxes from the earlier systems will cost upwards of -30- Billion dollars. Investing in renewable energy is the way to go, rather than add 9$ to the price tag of a litre of petrol.164.116.47.179 (talk) 15:34, 15 December 2009 (UTC)
