Columbia University and many other universities protest Israel Palestine war

On Monday at 2 p.m. Columbia University suspended students after they did not leave from an administrative building. Students for Justice in Palestine said the university is depriving them of facilities on campus. A rally for students and protesters will happen at Hind Hall at 2 p.m. On Tuesday students barricaded themselves in an administrative building on campus. Protesters unveiled a "Free Palestine" flag out of a window of a building at the Hamilton Hall on campus. On Tuesday, Protest group, CU Apartheid Divest announced on social media that the hall would be renamed, Hind Hall after a young girl who died in a vehicle crash by Israeli gunfire in Gaza during the Israel-Hamas War. The Gaza Solidarity Encampment blocked the entrance to Hamilton Hall then took it over.
