Re: Flame Interview

Thanks for the kind words and the review. I tend to be overcautious about taking liberties with original quotes from people, I'm afraid, believe me I'd already made some modifications grammar-wise. As for a name, well, I currently have no desire to reveal mine online for a host of mainly private reasons. I should probably adopt a 'real-name psuedonym' sometime (entirely legal here; so long as I don't pretend to be someone else I can have as many aliases as I like). Nader in Iowa

I don't want to be rude and remove the content you added about Iowa but I don't see how its relevant to the article since the article is about winning the nomination of the Peace and Freedom Party in California. The information added disrupts the article's flow. Reread the last paragraph and see its connection to the previous one. Sighting articles after publish

Hi. Please don't forget to sight articles after you review/publish them, you forgot to do this to one article today. It was effectively lost for several hours before I sighted it. Best regards, Tempo di Valse ♪ 04:19, 6 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Sighting

Please don't sight articles until they have been published. (You did this to Usain Bolt to run 150-meter race in Manchester). Basically, sight articles when you publish them. Don't sight articles that are in any development stage including {{review}}. Edits you make to already-published articles will be auto-sighted. Thanks, --SVTCobra 01:26, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Newsworthiness question

Hi,

I left a comment on the talk page of Emirates jet tail strikes runway during takeoff at Melbourne airport; I am involved in aviation, and I do not think that a tailstrike is particularly newsworthy. They intentionally cause tailstrikes during testing of aircraft, so it's not even fair to say that it was a close call. Thanks, Falconus (talk) 01:18, 23 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

World's cheapest car launched in India‎

Hallo, I think I have fixed the concerns listed on the talk page. Would you mind having another look at the article? Thanks! Tempo di Valse  (talk) 02:47, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello. I reviewed WP news. I tried to add why it is newsworthy, as it involves radioactivity, radiation, 2 previous major soil contaminations and previously millions of dollars of down time for the plant and millions of dollars of clean up and renovations, and there was millions of dollars spent into an investigation of contamination of Lake Ontario. There have been previous studies of cancer and high mortality rates in the area which have turned out to be OK. The project currently means storing 1,200 uranium hexafluoride (UF6) and I don't know how many drums of UO2 (uranium dioxide) in long term inside facilities off site, and right now some are stored in warehouses on site, but there are so many, they are everywhere, getting in the way of construction, pedestrian walkways, and work areas.

The current news is the minister has OK'd the public study to begin the process to begin the clean up of soils again, to store the decomission waste and transport of said waste, the demolition or decomission of buildings (which should have been reported by other cites as and not or), and as well as new buildings to be constructed.

I added some of this in-depth stuff to help the newsworthiness, but I do not know if that is what you were referring to, of if the fact that the gov't minister OK'd the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission to do a public study was not newsworthy. If it is alright, let me know if I am understanding right or not your opinion re the newsiness. -If I understand the principles right, I won't write another similar type article.SriMesh | talk 03:25, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
