Talk:People from Pichilemu, Chile leave La Cruz Hill

Latest comment: 13 years ago by Diego Grez in topic Request

I'm an eyewitness to the dispute that took place in La Cruz Hill and that made the people to leave it. Every single word of it. I can't find sources but I'm sure I'll can find a link to a Canal 13 video later. --MisterWiki (talk) 04:55, 17 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

  • How can I find English language sources if they all talk about the new president or the new aftershocks. 4 hours looking for some sources and no, there aren't more. --MisterWiki (talk) 00:42, 18 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
There is nothing wrong with not using English sources. We frequently publish articles that contain only foreign-language sources. There are a few people here who speak decent Spanish, we could have waited for them to review, or else used Google Translate (difference between Spanish and English is not very great and a translator can bridge most of the gap). Yes, I tried to explain him that. [Google doesn't translate videos ;-)] --MisterWiki (talk) 00:57, 18 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Let's think this through. Is there some reason to think the en.WP article can survive a challenge for non-notability? We don't want to add links that will eventually become broken links. --Pi zero (talk) 13:56, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
It is notable. It became notable in Chilean news media after the March 11 earthquake, and it is one of the most important points/attractions of Pichilemu. The WP article is currently an stub, but it could be expanded. --Diego Grez return fire 20:29, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
Okay, having raised the issue I'll defer to your judgment. (I've also added it to my WP watchlist, though, just in case. :-) --Pi zero (talk) 21:07, 6 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
