How can a new record be broken? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.107.0.74 (talk)

I agree - you break an existing record, you set a new one. The article needs a rename. Chris Mann (Say hi!|Stalk me!) 23:31, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
  Done renamed page. Anonymous101 (talk) 06:55, 19 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
Except that the sources said this was a new record being set. I've done the rename. Chris Mann (Say hi!|Stalk me!) 11:42, 19 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Jumping the gun edit

I hope I didn't jump the gun with the "unofficial final figure", the number I posted was taken down at 18:20 UTC, ie. four minutes after the end of Download Day 2008. However, for some strange reason the counter still keeps going now. According to the site the official figure will be out "within days".George horvath83 (talk) 18:28, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

I think the unofficial final figure was a good addition. Anonymous101 (talk) 18:31, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

sorry... i wrote my comment on the wrong page... i said 14,000,000 is wrong for download.com ive changed it to over 70,000 which is the accurate figure. 14,000,000 is the overall downloads for firefox since it was first uploaded my the mirror download.com years ago. 82.3.127.57 18:36, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for correcting the figure, I thought it seemed a bit high. Anonymous101 (talk) 18:40, 18 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
